Day 24 - Tour de GA

This morning was the start of the 2008 Tour de Georgia on Tybee Island. I know less than absolutely nothing about cycling, but I knew it would be a chance to catch some great photos and spend a gorgeous day on the beach.

Here is the group (the "peloton") headed towards Butler Ave on their way towards Savannah.

And finally, my favorite shot of the day...and I love love love this one! The Tybee Pier, behind a colorful beach umbrella.

omg, Jenn, these are so great! We checked out the whole album... wonderful stuff! and, you're right... Hincapie is a rather lovely specimen! ;)

i love the one of (jeesh, now i can't remember the name!) but it's a real close up and you can see his freckles and his whiskers starting to grow above his lip! Terrific!
