Day 13 - my green thumb

If you knew me, you would know how funny that title is. I do not have a green thumb - I have an agricultural horticultural thumb of death! Honestly, if I try to grow something, it dies. If I ignore it, it flourishes. Case in point, the gerbera daisies from last week. I also a tea rose that is three years old that I stuck in a pot and left outside in the sun that gives me tiny perfect pink roses. Conversely, the hydrangeas that I loved and cherished and nurtured haven't grown or bloomed. Sigh...

The picture below is of an onion that was forgotten in the vegetable basket (we usually keep them in the fridge because we don't always eat them fast enough. I noticed it a week or so ago - damn thing is growing, just sitting on a plastic shelf. I would go plant it, but it would just die.

The coppery color comes from post-processing (I played with Curves until it looked interesting). The original uncropped shot was sooooooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooring. I think the PP'd photo is quite pretty.

Tomorrow I should have some action shots for you! My personal trainer invited me to join him and some other folks at our climbing wall tomorrow - yay! I'll take my camera. I'm going to bed now, because aforementioned trainer is a big bully and worked me hard tonight! My muscles are crying now, but I'll be smiling tomorrow!
