Today I took pictures around my town...somewhat. I live in a military town - it's very basic. We have every chain restaurant known to man, and only one true "local" restaurant (not counting the Chinese and Mexican places, b/c really - aren't they all alike? Equally delicious, don't get me wrong!). Our local place is a delicious German restaurant, and it is truly delicious, but one can only eat there so many times before one's arteries start rebelling. The cucumber salad is to die for tho - and that's healthy, right? :D Of course I went off on food. Where I meant to go with this is that my town isn't very exciting, and not very pretty. I noticed last week, as I was driving downtown (note: downtown is about 5 blocks long - if that - and two stoplights) when I noticed that the "top" (for lack of a better word) of the courthouse was gorgeous against the bright blue sky. So today I went and took a picture of it.
Here's a picture of the really nice iron fence that surrounds the Coca Cola Company. I'm not sure why I didn't get a picture of the Coca Cola sign - it's very retro and cool looking.
And finally, here's my girl Acey. I took a whole bunch of the dogs today, but this is really the only one that turned out (and it was even boring before I turned it B&W). I don't know what's wrong with me. The dogs weren't really cooperating, but that wasn't it. Like I said earlier, I think I've lost my photo mojo. Sigh...really I think my arms are just tired from all the lifting I've been doing and I can't hold the camera as steady as I could before I became all Ms Olympia (ha as if!).
Anyways, hope you like the pictures today. I'll be in my certification class in Savannah allllllllllllllll day tomorrow (6 hours), so I doubt I'll get any pictures. But you never know!!!
