You have much to learn grasshoppah

Yes I do, photography-wise. I'm doing my friend's wedding in 2 weeks and I'm a basket case.

Meanwhile, my husband found this grasshopper hanging out in the top of our baby magnolia tree. As he is taller than me, I had to climb up on a stool to take the picture.
I had seen this spider's web across the yard for a few days now, and since I had shoes on to take the grasshopper picture, Evey and I went to check him out. I thought it was going to be the usual spiny orb weaver from my April 1, 2008 post, but it was a new species of orb weaver: the Spined Micrathena. Brings a whole new meaning to "baby got back" doesn't it?
